Individual Therapy
Many people get stuck reacting in ways they don’t fully understand. We’ll explore your patterns in a supportive, practical way so you can feel more grounded and clear about your relationships.
The clients who get the most out of working with me initially come in saying things like:
I think I may have ADHD but I’m afraid that’s just my brain coming up with excuses to be lazy
I keep ending up in bad or dead-end relationships - and I don’t know why
I’m having trouble adjusting to parenthood (and I’m embarassed/ burned out)
I have trouble accepting compliments or help, so I tend to strong-arm my way through life until I crash
I want a non-judgmental space where I can just be authentic
I want a therapist who is going to challenge me, not just nod at me, or talk endlessly about their own life/struggles
…and more.
If these sound like you, I encourage you to schedule a free 15 min call with me to determine your needs. Even if we’re not the right fit, I’m committed to finding a couple of referrals from my professional network to get you to the right place.

Couples Counseling
Relationships can feel confusing or frustrating when old patterns keep showing up. In sessions, we’ll slow things down, name the patterns, and learn skills for deeper clarity and connection.
Most couples who reach out to me typically identify these problems:
One partner pushes (or “nags”) and the other retreats (or “shuts down”) - both find this dynamic exhausting
You’ve started living parallel lives (sleeping separately, barely spending time together, etc)
You love each other but have forgotten being in love, and at this point it feels too late to hope for that
You/ your partner are unsure about staying together, but want to try couples therapy first (or one last time) before deciding
…and more.
I use the EFT model within my sessions and find it highly effective. My goal is not to keep a couple together, but rather to identify where your relationship needs to grow (together or apart) and help you get there.
Clients who have the most success within my couples sessions have these things in common:
A willingness to show up to the session and participate
They do work individually and as a couple between sessions
They have mutual respect for one another
What I do not allow within my sessions:
Unaddressed substance misuse/ addictions
Secret-keeping that affects the relationship (infidelity or other)
A facilitated space for you to have the same fights you have at home
Name calling, berating, yelling in session or at home
Client issues I do not specialize/ focus in but can refer out:
Infidelity/ Betrayal Trauma
Sexual trauma/ issues (though intimacy may be addressed)
Open or uncommitted relationships (dating)
Co-parenting or custody counseling

Groups
Group therapy provides a supportive therapeutic environment where you can share your truth and pain with others and be supported without judgment. These are typically held virtually at my practice.
We have a new group starting on September 14th for Moms with ADHD called “Neurospicy Motherhood” aimed towards mothers of littles (0-6 yrs old). Meets Mondays at 12:30pm (Excl Oct 12) via Google Meet.
If interested, please reach out to groups@oystercovetherapy.com.
