Individual Therapy
Individual Therapy for Burnout, Relational Stress, and Embodied Healing
Move out of your head, step out of survival mode, and reconnect with yourself.
-
My foundation in this work is deeply clinical; I spent my three pre-licensure years training intensely at a somatic-based group practice. Because of this, I don't just use somatic tools as an add-on—they are foundational to how I track healing. We don’t just talk about your emotions; we pay attention to how your body and your creative spirit hold them. Stress, anxiety, and trauma live in our nervous systems as tension, fatigue, or a constant feeling of being "on edge." By incorporating body-awareness and expressive arts, we can bypass the logical brain to find safety, processing and releasing what words alone cannot change.
-
Humans are wired for connection, but our early relationships often shape the unconscious blueprints for how we navigate safety, intimacy, and conflict today. Informed by attachment theory and relational psychodynamics, I pay close attention to the relational dynamics happening both in your everyday life and right between us in the room. Together, we map out the reactive patterns—like the exhausting cycle of over-functioning, pursuing, or shutting down—that leave you feeling stuck, helping you move out of self-protection and into secure, authentic connection with yourself and others.
-
Present-day burnout and relational patterns often have deep, hidden roots. I draw heavily on Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Inner Child framework, viewing you as a rich ecosystem of different "parts." Together, we gently meet the younger, protective parts of you that are still carrying old burdens or survival strategies, giving them the safety and recognition they need so you can lead your life from a grounded, compassionate Self.
-
You don’t need to perform or explain yourself here. As someone with lived experience masking and navigating cycles of neurodivergent burnout, I have dedicated this space to being genuinely neurodivergence-affirming and sensorily aware.
While being trauma-informed is the essential baseline for safe therapy, my approach is explicitly trauma-focused. Instead of treating symptoms in isolation, we actively look at how survival strategies and chronic stress are living in your present-day body, relationships, and nervous system, slowly building your capacity to unwind them at a pace your body actually trusts. (Note: If you are ever looking for trauma-specialized, protocol-driven memory reprocessing like EMDR, I am always glad to help connect you with dedicated specialists in my network).
